Get to know Lovely Lugar by Homie, Your Home Away from Home on Madeira Island by the sea, located in the charming Lugar de Baixo, in Ponta do Sol, one of the sunniest and most beautiful areas of Madeira.
Here, every detail has been carefully considered to provide a memorable stay, combining comfort, tranquillity, and the unique charm of its privileged location. Fully decorated with soft colours and a welcoming environment inspired by the serenity of the sea and local palms, Lovely Lugar conveys an immediate sense of well-being.
Upon entering, you are greeted by a comfortable and elegant living room, ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring the island. Adjoining this area is a cosy dining space and a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing family meals or holiday-flavoured breakfasts. Also on this floor, you will find one of the bathrooms with a bathtub, ensuring total comfort during your stay.
The upper floor consists of three carefully prepared rooms.

The grounds, pool and the fact that the accommodation was detached from others was lovely. The property was spotless and had all necessary amenities. The lady who changed the bedding was very pleasant.

Sadly, the house has high humidity and there were damp patches in both bedroom areas and in the kitchen/sitting area. This resulted in having a damp smell in the house which is a shame. If there were vents in the windows and a dehumidifier in each see more

This aside, we really did like the accommodation and the owners were attentive when the light tripped and the electric gate stuck one evening. Overall, the setting of the properties is lovely and the grounds are very well maintained.
